I have given a very ballpark figure with my answer to the poll, since we are a newly awakened Lodge (founded in 1786 and re-awakened in 2004) and have a total of 20 members - including double memberships - at the moment.

sorry to hear that. make yourself more community involved, and then compare the results. give yourself about a quarter of a year trial. a positive gain should result. the craft is dark to those who can't see, but curiosity feeds the goat.

Why sorry? Since we were re-awakened at the end of 2004 we've welcomed ten EAs to our ranks (several have now risen to higher Grades), have an Initiation this Friday and two more men who have applied for Initiation before the end of March. That's considerably better than most Lodges I know of, and we're not only very community involved, we're also known - through our various areas of work - in much of Germany.

Now, that's encouraging news! And it seems that your lodge has found the right type of people--enthusiastic enough about the Craft and motive-driven enough in regard to "areas of work"--to have brought and continuously bring new life to your venerable lodge!

Keep up the great work, and may your work enspire many other lodges in Deutschland as well as beyond!

Re: How many members show up at most meetings?

My Blue Temple Lodge has weekly meetings. We have about 40 members. About 15 to 20 atttend reguarly. The others are abroad, unwell due to very old age and in one or two cases have lost interest.

Post Best posts?

Hi there, I joined on this forum this week.

Forgive me for my laziness, but I was wondering if anyone could show me any particularly important posts that I should read first, so I can get involved here?

Many thanks, Mike

Post What's best to read first?

Hi! I joined for the first time this week.

I'm sorry for being so lazy, but I just thought I'd ask if anyone could point me to any especially good threads that I should check out first, so I can get involved here?

Thanks very much, Michael

Mike,

First welcome.... It really depends on what you are looking for as to whether there is a topic posted on it yet. I would just start by browsing the forums and seeing what topics interest you and join in.
