On The Level

And so I meet you all;

My name is Eric C. Friedman; I was Initiated, Passed & Raised in Stewart Manor-St. Albans Lodge #56, F&AM New York (Long Island). But I'm a Travelling Man in the literal sense, and have been a member of a number of lodges in NY, St. Louis MO, and now in Bettendorf Iowa -- where I was just recently installed as Senior Deacon of Early Morning Lodge #672, AF&AM, Iowa.

I'm Past Thrice Potent Master of the (Long Island) Aurora Grata Lodge of Perfection, which will be celebrating it's Bicentennial in 2008. I started a College of the Consistory in St. Louis, but had to move up to the Quad Cities to be with my new family.

Here in the Quad Cities, I'm active in BOTH jurisdictions of the Scottish Rite -- in the Valley of Moline IL (NMJ), where I recently participated in the LOP degrees, and in the Valley of Davenport IA (SJ), where I'm directing the 30th Degree of Knight Kadosh.

During my brief time in St. Louis, I let my York Rite participation lapse, but that's presently on the mend.

I've also recently joined the Grotto.
