I've been researching on Freemasonry over the past 8 years and I love it more and more each day. Last August, my husband became a Freemason, so now I feel somehow part of this extraordinary brotherhood too.
I'm interested mainly in the mystic elements of The Craft and I've amassed a small collection of the most significant books on Speculative Masonry. Pike (Morals & Dogma), Joseph Fort Newton (The Builders), Ward (Freemasonry and the Ancient Gods), Waite, Manly P.Hall, Hutchinson (The Spirit of Masonry), da Costa (The Dionysian Artificers) are among them.
Thank you for offering this Forum open to all people who love and respect Freemasonry.
Much Love & Light,
Alzira | |

Welcome and by all means please ask anything you'd like and we'll see what we can do to assist you. I am unfamiliar with Freemasonry in Rio but if you are interested there are female masons, contrary to popular belief, especially in the US, there are female masonic lodges and co-masonic lodges. Given they are closely related to or a part of the Grand Orient lodge they do have lodges that are more into the Mystical side of Masonry. | |

Thank you for the welcoming post. We already have Masonic Lodges in Rio, but not yet in Cabo Frio ("Cape Cold"). We are planning on that though.
Thank you also for the Links and the "must reads" suggestions.
All the Very Best,
Alzira | |
