Hello from Oklahoma

Hi, I'm Chad. I am looking to petition to become a freemason. My Dad is 32nd deg. Scottish Rite and so was my Grandfather etc. We just moved to Tulsa a few years ago and my dad has never got back to a lodge. He has Traumatic Brain Injury. I would like to become a freemason mostly for myself but I would also enjoy the chance to spend more time with my Father and get him back to his Masonic life. Should I just contact an area lodge?

Chad

Re: Hello from Oklahoma

Chad,

First, before you do anything research which type of Masonry you want to join, there are a few differences. Then locate a lodge in your area and find out what night they meet and go meet some of the Brothers there. Don't go just once go a few times and see if what they do fits with your desires. Once you are satisified then all you have to do is ask one of them, they will take it from there.

I do however want to make sure you research as much as you can before joining.
