Hello

Greetings and salutations.......

I am looking forward to my first hurtle on Sept 21, 2006 with my new brothers at the Blue Lodge # 223 in Camden, Missouri....in a crazy mixed up world going through one crisis after another it's a blessing to work toward being with men who hold at least the basics of truth, justice and the ethical way......

Respectfully,

Dave Laskowski
Missouri

I hope that you get at least as much out of Freemasonry as I already have. Good luck on your journey.

Thank you David for your kind words....there are not very many "grand adventures" left in this world unless you are willing to pay the VAT or sales tax.......

Yes indeed.....@ 7:30 pm is the first official evening....every week I have received a positive piece of mail from the Lodge Secretary.....since the installation of officers is a public event my wife Linda and I will be heading up there in about a hour or so.....I love how the Universe arranges one's daily events if one is receptive to flowing in a forward direction!......

Yes, this afternoon's installation of officers at my soon to be home Lodge was both exciting and interesting!......also, as previously mentioned in this thread, meeting my future Brothers and their families was the best part.....I even met some of my neighbors!.....we have recently assumed rural living so our nearest neighbor is over a mile away, it's amazing how you will fine a Mason everywhere you go!........

Well, just a quick note to say my EA tonight was wonderful, two of us made it through the night, 4 hours of so much information my brain hurts.....had Brothers from 4 lodges come for the evening...Camden, MO has a population of 209 people, I believe we bumped it up by 30% tonight!.......

Tonight was worth the wait!

Sweet, congrats! And remember, it's not a race to become a MM; enjoy the journey and the lessons en route.

Thank you for your kind thoughts!....no, I have finally learned over the years to enjoy the process....if anything, it will take time for me to absorb what I experienced in this first degree, this morning my thoughts went to the millions and millions of men who have gone through the same experience over the last 600 years....to what their day after was like, especially the actual Masons who had to get up the next day and start laying block at a church or temple....if all men could experience the same good feeling our nightly news would not be filled with such fear and sadness......
