Welcome Guest to The Blue Lodge an on-line community for Freemasons and interested non-Freemasons. The Blue Lodge is a community portal for discussing the ancient art of Freemasonry and it's future. I am married to Sue (a Talented and Gifted teacher/coordinator for our local school district). I also have 3 sons - a professional photographer in Kansas City, a recent college graduate looking for his first teaching job, and a sophmore in college pursuing a degree in Psychology and Communications. I have a BA in Communication and Theatre and a Masters of Divinity. I am a parish pastor serving my 25th year in my current congregation located in a town of 1000 in northern Iowa - a mere 7 miles from the Minnesota border. I have served as an officer in 3 different lodges over the years - as Jr Steward, Jr Deacon, Chaplain (2x), and secretary (3x). I am also a York Rite Mason. Life is busy but God is good. I enjoy the fellowship of the lodge, as well as a social outlet in which my faith is enriched and not compromised. I look forward to participating on this site with good discussion that broadens my experience and my circle of brothers.
