I have not had a chance to repond to all of your post yet but this one I have a quick answer for. Ed King's diatribes carry no weight with me, brother.

Thanks for keeping it simple.

Arthur but part of being a mason is being able to have intellectual discussions on various topics and not always having to agree. I did, in haste, say something a little callous against Bro. King earlier in this thread and ask his forgiveness. However, not everyone agrees all the time and not one man is always right.
Just like in this case here, as it appears, you and I will probably not agree on many topics dealing with either Antient or Modern Freemasonry but I will not shun you or directly attack you. I hope that you will stick around to listen and offer your opinion with the other Brothers here. I will only ask that you show them the same respect.

What is your Grand Lodges position on the United Grand Lodge of America?
What is your Grand Lodges position on interacting with said lodge?

Bro. Arthur,
I'm not sure whether the UGLA is even on my Grand Lodges radar screen. However, I would have to assume that they would take the same stance as they take on Prince Hall Masons.

Unfortuantly, the Grand Lodge of the state I live in (Alabama) doesn't recgonize Prince Hall as Freemasons. However, I stand FIRM against ANY separation of Brothers of ANY color. I better stop now before I climb too far up on my soap box.

I found the MasonicInfo.com site to be informative, but I am now a bit confused. So how does the " United Grand Lodge of America" fit into this picture?

They are not recognised as Masons by any Regular Grand Lodge in the world. Participation in tyled meetings with them is a violation of our obligations and grounds for expulsion in most jurisdictions. They are a new organisation of clandestine masonry.
