However, even the greatest supporter of The Grand Lodge of Kentucky must see that this situation is completely nuts.
Charles Martin is a man of integrity, and a solid Freemason. The Grand Master's job is not to "follow the rules". His job is to act like a Grand Master and make sure that the rules of his Grand Lodge are just and fair to his members - no less.
If this one is determined to blindly apply "the rules" rather than saying to his colleagues, "Look this rule is anomalous and unfair and so we will not take action against Charles Martin until it is corrected", then he is clearly either in error, or not the right material for high office and a leadership role.
That is what is being said here.

Stealth, I like to take this a little further and demand that the Grand Lodges of states who DO recognize Prince Hall Freemasons should PULL recognition from the 13 states who do not.

A resolution by all Grand Lodges that would guarantee consistency and would override all other resolutions as follows:
"As a priority, Grand Lodges will at all times "recognise" when the writing on the wall!"

It won't happen Stealth, so what may be done that is practical under these circumstances?
The only people who can actually do anything is Charles Martin's own colleagues in the Grand Lodge of Kentucky. That is his only avenue of hope, if that is what he wants.
Past experience tells me that his goose is well and truly cooked. They will have to persuade or even force their Grand Master to reverse his decision.
I have read and re-read that letter. That GM has committed himself. The judicial process is in train. Charles has probably already been suspended from all Lodges.
Why do you think that so many Freemasons have had enough, and walked away from Freemasonry?
One or two might leave Freemasonry altogether. The GOUSA might recruit one or maybe two if they are lucky.
Let's have some plain speaking here Brethren. The vast majority will remain servile and gutless.

I'm really tired of these members hiding behind the thinly veiled excuse of GL sovereignty. That seems to b the "way out" for those who sit on the fence.
Yet these GL Bodies convene every February as an organization so they can all stay on the same page. Sounds like a national GL to me and always has.
They rot with hypocrisy.
