The decision was made to suspend me from KY Masonry for 12 months. I am unable to attend lodge in any case, due to work schedules and other considerations.
I will accept the decision, and move on. I appreciate everyone's kindness. I will probably be done with Iraq, when the 12 months are up. Then I will re-think my masonic memberships.
I am going to just drop off the masonic boards, and disappear for a while.

Being from one of the 13 that do not recognize. This is very very disheartening and leaves me wondering.

This type of behavior is not the norm in Freemasonry but it is quite extensive within certain jurisdictions. There are plenty of Brothers out there that do not feel this way so please don't be discouraged.

My father is a freemason and I have not discussed this with him but think that I may bring it up when I see him in a few weeks. I have been in conversation with a frined that is a PH and I have expressed my concernes to him as well. He has told me thatit happens on both sides and not to let it consume me or alter any decision I may have to seek out membership.

It seems to me you don't know which end of the Grand Lodge is which . |
A Mason violated his obligations? Really? He met with a clandestine "brother." Please give me a break. Since Prince Hall is an outside organization as we all know and not really Masonic he should be free to visit. Maybe he just wants to see how they do things.
I see racist bullies that are abusing their power and acting in purely unMasonic and childish ways to hijack our great fraternity. We need to organize against these "brothers" that are far lower than "clandestine brothers" to rid them from Freemasonry in order to save Freemasonry. I wonder if the GL of Kentucky and West Virginia have any idea whatsoever the low opinion the rest of the Freemason world has for them. I wonder.
