Dan Brown’s best selling novel, selling 60 million copies to date, has raised many questions in the minds of the inquisitive and stirred dissention among many traditional Christian organizations. However, we must admit the movie leaves a lot to be desired because of being rushed, in an effort to put as many aspect of the book as possible, into a two hour movie. Personally, this editor was intrigued by the many possibilities that the book, even though admitted fiction, raised in my mind about the true origins of Christianity. The movie in no way will set off a storm of firing synapisis in the brain of its viewers as the book did to its readers. This because of the mind-numbing way in which the movie attempted to presented the theory of the life of Jesus, which on the contrary, was so cleverly done in book. It is however a good movie and we will happily buy it on DVD (Directors Cut of course) when released but remain disappointed in the movie overall.
