Something Every Mason Should Read

I truly believe that Laudable Pursuit is a great document and everyone should read. I think the ideas contained in it are the future of freemasonry and truly the only way we may save our beloved organization.

I read this article several times and choose to use it for my research paper which I presented to my AMD council this evening. I am hoping that the brothers present this evening will think about what I said and will put the leasons to work. I know that I will.

Thumbs up Re: Something Every Mason Should Read

A very moving piece of writing!

Though I have just briefly skimmed it due to current time restraints (due, proper reading will follow with adequate contemplation), it has hit home on a few ideas that contributed to me proactively seeking contact with a lodge in my town. ...

One of the central ideas of "leadership in the community" (to paraphrase) is very dear to me (be on the level of brotherly love among men (& women) or on the level of becoming and being involved citizens of one's city/county/state/nation). But of course, as also the American Founding Fathers understood, such leadership must be selfless ...

I am looking forward on returning to this thread after properly dedicating due time for thorough reading ...

Markus
