Do any of you know how to build an ark?

My brothers,

After about 2 months of no rain, we have had about 5 to 6 inches in the last 3 days. As I watch the lake in my back yard strain to touch the high water mark, I am forced to beg of you my friends to see who has the most current set of plans to build an ark?

Boat building has never been a particular skill of mine, but in the interest of not trying to swim with my wife, 3 children, two dachsunds, a hedge hog and a gold fish, I have decided to take up that ancient art.

OK, I am just kidding because I can't go outside and get anything done.

While Tropical Storm Fay was blowing through here last week, I was seriously wondering if I should start rounding up two of each animal I could find.

Well, we'd appreciate some of that rain over here in Oz, especially here in the West. Had good rains in July, but zilch this month. Our farmers have planted their crops, now, they're wilting due to lack of follow up rains. We've been in a drought situation for approx. 10 years now.
May have to revert to a raindance of some sort, but if I do that, I'll only raise up more dust.
As for the Ark, ask Noah, He may have left some instructions behind somewhere.

this is the same storm (fay) different palce and day. They put us on manditory water restrictions day before yesterday.

I'd like to have some of that water. My lake is down at least a couple of feet so far.

Don't worry I watched Even all mighty and I think I got the whole boat building thing down.
I was going to say that you can let the goldfish go on its way but on second thought you may need a quick snack on your boating adventure.
I know this post is old but I had to chime in (its in my nature).

it is ok, we missed gustav, but Hanna looks like a direct hit, and maybe Ike, so I had best get back to work..for Hanna they predict 8-14 inches of rain, and no hint for Ike.
