Attempts have been made to contact Grand Master Gerald S. Leighton asking him; Does the Grand Lodge of Maine approve of the rantings of a Grand Lodge Official? Mr. Edward L. King's blathering web posts and his insane websites do not contain any disclaimer separating his personal remarks from the views of the Grand Lodge of Maine. So far Grand Master Leighton has ignored all requests for a clarification.
Unfortunately this speaks volumes of the brotherhood of Maine "Chaos out of Order"? It seems to be their views are one in the same with Mr. Edward L. King's views. He is conducting himself in a very unmasonic way not only towards Free Masons but, also the general public, he is conducting himself in a bad light which also portrays Masonry in a bad light.
It is a sad day when a Grand Master and a Grand Lodge will not take responsibility for one of its members that is embarrassing the fraternity.

I'm truly not sure of his origins but if you read much of his stuff he seems a little off to me. You can see his web site here http://www.masonicinfo.com/ and we also pull his blog stories on TBL, they usually start with something in the title about "the old web master"

King posts his rantings on a website where he lies and slanders people at will. His posts are rank with inaccuracies, half truths and out right lies. Through his demented behavior he believes he is the authority of all things concerning Free Masonry. One can spend five minutes reading his vile rants and you wonder who left the gate open at the insane asylum.
Mr. Edward L. King is the webmaster for the Grand Lodge of Maine and Vermont and his personal blog and his personal slanderous websites do not have any disclaimer's on them we are left to believe that his lies and slander is endorsed by the Grand Lodge of Maine and Vermont.
Its time the Grand Master's of Maine and Vermont make a statement about Mr. Edward L. King's unmasonic behavior.

Mr. Edward L. King is a disgrace to the entire Masonic community. His postings and personal vendetta's are either nothing more than rantings of a very unhappy man, or at the direction of someone or some organization's personal interests.
Here are a few quotes Mr. Edward L. King has made in the past;
"You're really become fascinated with homosexuality of late, "Watchy". Any particular reason?"
"So you're going to be supporting Hitler and homosexuality now? Kewl.... "
"how "idiotic" Jewish Researchers who expose the anti-semitism of the occult are. I certainly don't see the Jewish press lining up to support your new-found darling. In fact, I don't see anybody lining up to support YOU either. (shrug) Ed King"
Mr. Edward L. King can dish it out but when it comes to him he hides. His blog site is more of his rants and while most all blog sites allow free discussion and responses to their post Mr. Edward L. King cares nothing about what anyone thinks of his postings there is no way to respond to them. If he attacks you, you cannot confront him. I guess he likes to spout his vile comments will hiding in a dark room bounding his keyboard.
The following quote is from his blog site.
"You want to know more about me? That’s really not necessary, is it?
Here’s the important stuff: I’m a Mason and I’ve been one for a long time. I’ve ‘traveled in foreign countries’ - literally - and have enjoyed Masonic friendship and fraternity everywhere I’ve gone."
"If your subject line is "Hi" or "Get real" or even "I'd like help joining Masonry", your message will likely hit the kill file rather than my inbox"

Does the freemasons have a chain of command??
There must be some way to resolve this.

What potions have I drunk of Siren tears,
Distilled from limbecks foul as hell within,
Applying fears to hopes, and hopes to fears,
Still losing when I saw myself to win!
What wretched errors hath my heart committed,
Whilst it hath thought itself so blessed never!
How have mine eyes out of their spheres been fitted,
In the distraction of this madding fever!
O benefit of ill! now I find true
That better is by evil still made better;
And ruined love, when it is built anew,
Grows fairer than at first, more strong, far greater.
So I return rebuked to my content,
And gain by ill thrice more than I have spent.

I think not. He is mostly likely insane, or mentally handicapped, and for sure controlled by someone else. He has too much fun destroying others and making himself look like the Masonic Authority like his controller.
