Kansas in the past has held one day classes.
You walk in nothing and if you pay enough you walk out a Shriner.
They plan on doing away with these when GL meets in March.
The lodges that used the classes didn't have to worry about what degree to open on. I think that getting rid of the classes is a good thing. I also think that opening on the degree of the newest man is the only way to go.
