Whether or not the Grand Lodge would have taken the building and gutted it is unknown to most of us who have come upon this sad news via the internet; however, it doesn't take a genius to realize that theft is theft, regardless of who is practicing it. Without the entire lodge present for the vote on whether or not to surrender the charter and their dues cards, the actions taken by the renegades was unfounded and amounts to theft, grand theft at that. I am awaiting a time with patience until the Grand Lodge of Ohio makes its move to remedy the situation, reclaim the building and return it to the rightful owners thereof, the members of Halycon No. 498 who are still 'loyal' members of the Grand Lodge and have every right to the building where their lodge has met for years.

God bless the Grand Master, his Grand Lodge officers and the faithful and loyal brethren of Halycon 498, and we pray that a resolution is soon forthcoming for all involved.
