Although we really hate to see the further demise of the Antient system of Freemasonry, this is just another shining example of Grand Lodges Gone Wild and being completely out of touch with reality, or at least that is what they want us to think. I smell a future conspiracy theory story coming on but more on that later.

After such a bright beginning Halcyon Lodge #498 in Cleveland, OH no longer exists, well at least not as it did before November 12th, 2007. It is now called Halcyon #2, although we think a better fitting name would have been “The Green Dragon Tavern #2” but hey that’s not for us to decide. For those of you unfamiliar with The Green Dragon Tavern story, to put it simply, that is where the Freemasons planned the Boston Tea Party. How does the Boston Tea Party compare to Halcyon? Glad you asked, well out of respect for the Brothers of Halcyon, we will wait for the official announcement from the WM before going into too many details about the evening’s events but from what we have heard, it was quite an eventful evening and probably the funniest night out at a lodge many of us will ever see.
