As a Kentucky freemason, this is a topic of great interest to me, and something which was very surprising when I first joined the lodge. I for one cannot understand why our lodges remain segregated, and the only excuse that has ever been given to me is "tradition". It makes me sad for my fellow brothers, and is hard to explain to others when asked.
